2010 Colorado Rockies

Jim Tracey returns as the skipper for the Colorado Rockies and looks to get his club back into the playoffs for the second consecutive year. If he can accomplish that, it will be the first time in team history that the Rockies have done so.

The team went through the offseason with Tracey at the helm from the start and with the key acquisitions of 3B Melvin Mora, C Miguel Olivo, RHP Tim Redding, and C Paul Lo Duca and OF Jay Payton, the team hopes to contend with the powerhouse LA Dodgers who are expected to take the NL West title.

The projected pitching rotation looks to be RHP Ubaldo Jimenez, LHP Jeff Francis, RHP Aaron Cook, LHP Jorge De La Rosa and RHP Jason Hammel. The projected closer is RHP Huston Street.
